Gaming1’s Future Plans in Switzerland
This company is now able to operate its two casinos from 2025 to 2044 through its Circus Casino France subsidiary. The casinos in question are the Casino de Crans-Montana and the Casino de Davos.
All of this comes after Switzerland’s federal council awarded the company two casino licenses. It happened in late 2023 during a process where it selected licensees that covered 22 regions for a period of two decades.
The Belgian Gaming Group noted that the licenses helped it consolidate its position in the Swiss market. This follows its market entry in Davos, which occurred in 2017.
Four years later, Gaming1 managed to become the featured casino’s main shareholder. In 2022, it did the same thing with the casino in Crans-Montana.
After securing its position, the company revealed its intentions to move the Davos casino to a nervy facility. That way, the Gaming1 can help it develop even further. It also plans on opening a new sports bar at the same location.
As for Crans-Montana, the gaming group’s desire is to modernise and expand the casino. It plans to do that with new seminar rooms, a sports bar, and a brand-new restaurant area. The latter will overlook the lake and the function rooms. Gaming1’s future plan is to obtain an online gaming license in the country.
Emmanuel Mewissen, the Chief Executive of Gaming1, said that he’s delighted and proud with the company’s two new concessions. He then noted that this news delights all of their employees and confirms their quality of management as part of their development strategy.
