Wazdan’s best-performing online slots have been approved for the Dutch market
Chris Grand |Wazdan is one of the most experienced and respected online casino games providers globally. This gaming provider recently had 23 of its player-favorite titles certified for the Dutch market, making it the company’s 18th jurisdiction in which it can operate.
Players in the Netherlands are a lucky lot since they’ll be able to play Wazdan classics like Larry the Leprechaun, Sizzling 777 Deluxe, and 9 Lions, as well as the wildly popular, Hold the Jackpot series, which includes hits like Sizzling Moon, Sun of Fortune, Power of Gods: Hades, and Fortune Reels, thanks to the certifications.
Wazdan’s one-of-kind and special features
Wazdan has some unique features worth noting. For instance, there are Volatility Levels, which were recently expanded. You’ll also find the Ultra-Fast Mode, which speeds up gameplay, and the Ultra-Lite Mode, which reduces game loading time for players with slow Internet connections. Furthermore, there’s a Big Screen Mode, which gives players two zoom modes to choose from to enlarge the reels view and fill the entire screen. All these features will also be available in the northwestern European country soon.
The above isn’t all the features that you should expect from Wazdan. Other special features will include the famous Buy Feature, which eliminates the need for players to wait for bonuses to activate during gameplay and instead allows them to choose the feature they want at any time during their game. Furthermore, you can expect to find a Unique Gamble Feature that a player can activate after winning a spin to begin a bonus game to give him a 50/50 chance of instantly doubling wins as many as seven times in a row.
There’s also the Energy Saving Mode that can extend the life of a device by up to 40%, making it ideal for mobile gamers on the go, and Double Screen Mode, which allows the paytable to be accessed and shown while playing, among other features.
Substantial coup
While commenting on the achievement realized so far, Chief Commercial Officer for Wazdan, Andrzej Hyla, said, “We pride ourselves on our commitment to regulated markets and are very pleased to have received certification for 23 of our titles in the Netherlands.
“This marks the 18th jurisdiction that we can enter and serves as a testament to the hard work of all the team. We look forward to seeing the impact that our games can have on operators in the region.”
Expanding market
Things are rapidly changing in the Netherlands. Of importance to note is that the newly regulated online gambling sector in the Netherlands has grown significantly since its inception on October 1st, 2021. According to a reliable source at the time, the Dutch Gambling Authority, Kansspelautoriteit (KSA), determined that gross gaming revenue (GGR) for online operators in the Netherlands was significantly higher than initially estimated, prompting authorities to revise the initial figure for the size of the online market in 2021 from €580 million to €814 million.
Wazdan has now joined West Virginia after acquiring its Lottery i-Gaming Interim Supplier Licence in the eastern U.S. state in November 2021, bringing its total number of regulated market debuts to four. In addition to the United States, the slot developer has just launched in Belarus and Greece.
Soon to be released
Fans may also look forward to the release of Dwarfes Fortune, the next Hold the Jackpot title, on March 9th! The mining-themed video slot is available on all devices and boasts customizable volatility, several gaming modes, and a 2500x stake maximum win.
